Investing in Your Mental Health

Choosing to begin therapy is a powerful step toward emotional well-being, personal growth, and long-term resilience. Finding the right therapist is deeply personal, and I want you to feel fully informed about what working with me entails.

I operate as an out-of-network provider, a choice that allows me to offer highly individualized care, free from the limitations of insurance-driven models. This approach supports a deeper, more flexible therapeutic experience centered entirely around your needs.

When you invest in therapy, you’re not just covering the cost of sessions—you’re committing to your healing, your goals, and your future self.

What It Means to Be “Out of Network”

As an out-of-network therapist, I do not bill insurance directly. Instead, I provide clients with detailed superbills (professional receipts) that can be submitted to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. While I don’t file claims on your behalf, I offer a user-friendly benefits lookup tool, Mentaya, that helps estimate what your plan might cover.

Many commercial insurance plans reimburse between 50% and 80% of therapy costs, depending on your coverage. This process allows you to receive high-quality care while still utilizing your insurance benefits.

Why I Work Outside Insurance Networks

Stepping outside of insurance networks gives me the freedom to offer care that is ethical, intentional, and truly client-centered. Here’s why I’ve made this choice:

  • Flexible Treatment Planning: Therapy is guided by your unique goals—not preset limitations around session length, frequency, or covered diagnoses.

  • More Time for You: Without administrative constraints, I can devote more time and energy to our work together, deepening our process and progress.

  • Enhanced Privacy: Out-of-network care minimizes the sharing of your personal health information, protecting your confidentiality throughout treatment.

This model supports deeper therapeutic work, prioritizing your well-being over external mandates.

Fee Structure and Professional Excellence

My session fee reflects a commitment to advanced training and best practices in the field. I regularly invest in ongoing education, certifications, and research-based approaches to ensure the care I provide is current, effective, and tailored to your needs.

This fee structure sustains a level of service grounded in integrity, professional growth, and a dedication to helping clients achieve meaningful change.

Sliding Scale Availability

Affordability should never be a barrier to quality care. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots using the Green Bottle Method—a transparent and inclusive model that considers your financial reality while honoring the value of therapy.

Therapy That Honors Your Needs

Choosing an out-of-network provider is a decision rooted in quality, personalization, and respect for your mental health journey. I believe this approach allows for the depth, consistency, and connection that real healing requires.

If you’re ready to take that next step, I’d be honored to support you.
